Holly Kerr R.TCM.P.

Holly is a Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner. She completed her 4-year diploma at the Kootenay Columbia College of Integrative Health Sciences (KCCIHS) in Nelson, BC and is a registered practitioner with the CTCMA in the province of BC. In her early 20’s she started a career in the administrative world which she enjoyed but felt that she wanted to help people with a more hands on approach. It was personal experience with acupuncture which helped to manage her own ailments that led her to believe that Chinese Medicine was the path for her.

“What I have come to understand about Chinese Medicine is that there isn’t just one way in which to heal an ailment. There are many perspectives and modalities that can aid your patient. As a practitioner, I recognize that each patient is their own being and has their own story and through this unique story is where the answers and the diagnosis lies.”

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has shown to help patients experiencing:

-Headaches and migraines
-Digestive complaints
-Depression
-Stress
-Gynecological issues
-Insomnia
-Acute and chronic pain
-Common cold and flu
-Arthritis
-Lower back pain
-And so much more!!

Holly creates a safe space for her patients where they work as a team since Chinese Medicine is a collaborative healing form. “We need to create space for and listen to the body in order to achieve results.”

Holly is skilled and qualified in administering the following modalities:

-Acupuncture
-Chinese Herbal Medicine
-Cupping
-Electro-Acupuncture
-Tui Na massage
-Moxibustion
-Gua Sha (Chinese ‘scraping’ technique)
-Diet and Lifestyle therapy

What to expect from your first Acupuncture treatment with Holly:

An initial consultation and treatment with Holly is approximately 90 minutes and will include a detailed conversation about your overall health, a tongue and pulse diagnosis and a treatment involving one or more of the above modalities. In most treatments you will discuss ways to improve what is ailing you by means of changes or adaptations in diet and lifestyle.

Follow up appointments are approximately 60 minutes and include a shorter consultation discussing any changes in the body, tongue and pulse diagnosis and a treatment.

“I would love to work with you to help you attain your very best self and live your optimal life!”
